An Annual League Held Throughout Ireland

New (26/3/09 The draft DBMM league rules are now here in MS Word format.

The deadline for registering your army is the 28th of April.

In 2009 RINWA will run 2 parallel leagues:

* A FOG League administered by David Taylor (david.taylor36@talktalk.net)
* A DBMM League administered by Donal Coghlan (donal.c.coghlan@intel.com)

Both leagues will use the same theme "Salamis to Actium, 480 BC to 31BC" and will run over 5 rounds:
May, June, July, August and September with swiss chess being used to pair players each round (groups
with less than 6 players will play a round robin and then a swiss based on score). Each of these games
will between players in provincial pools on club nights or in people's houses. In addition there will be
national finals at the end of the year. The DBMM finals will be in Dublin, the FOG finals in Belfast.

To help people planning an army (and perhaps even painting one!) the draft set of army lists allowed

More detailed league rules will be posted later on this site.Basically the plan will be to follow the format of previous years. Please contact the appropriate league co-ordinator (David/Donal) if you have any specific queries.
