Seamus 52
Jeremy 52
John 42
George 37
David S 15
well here are the results, hard fought all round (but especially bloody in both Munster
and Leinster) also came down to a knife-edge of a final round with many possible
combinations of winners.
Leinster
Place, Name, Score, Positions above seeding
1 Donal 81 +1
2 Rob 80 +2
3 Mick 78 (on tie-break) +0
4 Jan 78 -3
5 Thomas 72 +0
6 Mike 71 +2
7 Brian 25 (no Sept game score received) +0
8 Dave 22 (no Sept game score received) -2
Hence Rob wins the prize for placing highest above his seeding due the
the tie-break of his individual result vs Mike.
Munster
welcome to the DGG Winter League, this year all games will be UNrated
to allow for v1.1 playtesting (if both players wish) and for continued DBMM learning/tutorial games.
I used a RANDOM draw for the first round.
The first round pairings are, all games to be completed by the end of Oct:
#Player Number, Last Name, First Name(current score), Last Game Score,
Rating, Army List Date, Army List, Club, Country
#--- Game 1, Table 101 -------------
1, Hessian, Mick( 0), NoScoreYet , 12, 550, 2/79 N&S Dynsties
Chinese(Northern Dynasties 555AD), DGG, IRL

the regional stage of the RINIWA DBMM league is drawing to a close with the final game pairings and leader boards published below. In most provinces it has been a tough fight but Munster is a bloodbath with very big wins and most games ending in bloody victories. Only Ulster has a clear winner at this stage.
There will be an invitational 2-round finals in Dublin at the end of November where the regional winners (2 from Dublin as the largest pool) will duke it out to determine the overall league winner.

The games shop formerly known as "Models Inc" of Dorset St has moved premises to Jervis St and been re-named "Gamers World".
Martin Kenny, the proprietor, is delighted with his brand new
premises and has encouraged everyone to pay a visit.
Dublin Games Guild (http://iworg.com/dgg) continues to meet in the shop's playing area each Wednesday night.
I saw that "WHFB Ireland" (http://www.whfb-ireland.org/) are a new site/organisation dedicated to WH tournament-style play in Ireland, with it seems a main aim of developing tournament play in Ireland so that a strong team can be sent to next year's WH European Championships. Ahhh, brings back memories of staring RINIWA (http://iworg.com/node/30). Best of luck to them.
The North Wexford Gamers are running a 2k point WHFB tournament in Gorey in September. Our site is - http://www.northwexfordgamers.org/index.php?p=1_12_Tournament
