Never Die Wondering League Table - at 13 April 2008 (post Celtic Championship 08)
The table below summarises the number of rated games played for each player
in rated tournaments. It only includes players who have played at least 20 rated
games.
It is ordered by proportion of draws (as defined
below) with the lowest proportion given the highest ranking. Where the draw
proportion is equal the player that has played the most games is given the
higher ranking.
This table is intended to highlight those players who will
"never die wondering what may have been" or are prepared to always try for a result even at some
risk. Or at least that is one interpretation of its contents.
The total number
of games played is shown and the average 10 point score in those games.
The right hand columns show the percentage of games "won", "drawn" and "lost"
for each player. Where the scoring system used, eg GSC15, allows this to be determined precisely that information has been used.
Under other scoring systems it is based upon the equivalent of a 10 point score from each game where a score of 6.5 to 10
is considered a win, 3.5 to 6.5 a draw and 0 to 3.5 a loss. In these cases the available data does not
permit any more accurate determination of wins, draws and losses than this.
The proportion of games won, drawn and lost for the last 12 months only are
also shown in the right hand columns.
